Unpaid leaves granted in compliance with Chapter 162-30 WAC for sickness or disability may extend up to 60 days after the birth of the infant. Extensions beyond 60 days shall require the filing of a physician's certificate, stating the need for additional leave due to the sickness or disability and must include an expected date the employee will be released to return to full duties.
