The County Council, pursuant to the Pierce County Charter, hereby creates the County Planning Commission consisting of seven members which shall assist the Planning and Public Works Department in carrying out its duties, including assistance in the preparation and execution and amendment of the Comprehensive Plan and recommendations to the County Council for the adoption of official controls and/or amendments thereto.
