Reimbursement for travel expenses incurred for travel, seminars, and for convention and/or education purposes shall be allowed only when authorized in advance by the following elected officials in their respective offices: Executive, Presiding Judges of District or Superior Courts, Prosecuting Attorney, or Chair of the Council, or their designee. This Section shall not apply to investigations conducted by the Sheriff or Prosecuting Attorney.
