A. Responsibility for administration of this Chapter is vested with the Sheriff's Department.

B. The Sheriff's Department shall designate an Alarm Administrator to carry out the duties and functions described in this Chapter.

C. Monies generated by fees and fines assessed pursuant to this Chapter shall be deposited into the appropriate Sheriff's Department revenue accounts.

D. Based upon a review and recommendation from the Sheriff's Department, the fees and fines set forth in the Fees and Fines Schedule in this Chapter may be modified by a County Council resolution. The Sheriff's Department or its contract representative shall post the fees and fines on the Sheriff's Department web site and notify the alarm companies and monitoring companies. These companies shall then be responsible to notify their customers of these fees and fines. For purposes of this subsection, "fees and fines" include any type or class of fee and fine, including late fees and penalties.

E. The Sheriff's Department and/or the Alarm Administrator shall conduct an annual evaluation and analysis of the effectiveness of this Chapter and identify and implement system improvements as warranted.
