If, after investigation, the Health Officer or his designated representative finds that any public water system fails to comply with this Chapter, the Health Officer may send a compliance letter to the purveyor of the public water system, which letter shall include the following: specifications of the areas where the public system fails to meet the requirements of this Chapter; and specifications of time deadlines for submission of any steps designed to bring the public water system into compliance with this Chapter. In the event the purveyor fails to comply with the compliance letter, the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department may take appropriate action to require such compliance.
