With the exception of authorized employees of the Pierce County Prosecutor's Office, Pierce County Department of Assigned Counsel, and Sheriff's Department, including Correctional Deputies, no employee of Pierce County shall possess firearms, whether licensed or not, or any other weapon while on premises or property owned or leased by Pierce County or in County vehicles while on County business or while otherwise conducting County business. Employees who carry firearms and/or weapons in their personal vehicles shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws regarding weapons.
