The regular meetings of the Board shall be held a minimum of six times per year, unless otherwise ordered by the Board, the Chair, or the Director of the Department of Human Services. Meetings are open to the public in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act stated in Chapter 42.30 RCW.

Special meetings may be called by the Chair or by the Director of the Department of Human Services. The purpose of the meeting shall be stated in the call. Except in cases of emergency, at least ten days notice shall be given.
