A. Hold a public meeting and make recommendations to the Pierce County Planning Agency as defined in Chapter 2.76 PCC on rural and resource components of the Pierce County Comprehensive Plan and policies within that affect agriculture or rural land uses;

B. Hold a public meeting and make recommendations to the Pierce County Planning Agency on development regulations which affect agricultural operations or production;

C. May make recommendations to the Executive and Council on proposed legislation at the state level which affects agriculture in Pierce County;

D. Make recommendations to the Executive and Council on the development and execution of the food policy for Pierce County; and

E. May assist the Planning and Public Works Department (Department) on other matters of agricultural policy which from time to time may be referred by the Executive or Council or as may be raised by the Commission.
