2.62.040 Term of Office.

Members of the Commission shall be appointed by the Executive and confirmed by a majority of the Council by resolution. The Commission shall consist of 11 voting members.
Effective January 1, 2024, the first terms of the Commission's voting members shall be staggered as follows:
A. Five shall be appointed for two years, to expire January 1, 2026; and
B. Six shall be appointed for four years, to expire January 1, 2028.
Thereafter, the successors to the first appointment shall be appointed for four-year terms. No member of the Commission shall be eligible to serve more than two full terms consecutively.
