The qualifications for each of the positions in the Probation Department shall be determined by the Court Administrator with approval of the judges of District Court. These qualifications shall be comparable to those established for Probation Officers of comparable jurisdictions to include as a minimum a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree in a related area. Employees of the Probation Department shall not engage in any outside activities which will conflict with or compromise the duties owed to the Probation Department.
