Except for Emergency amendments, the County Council shall hold at least one public hearing on initiated Comprehensive Plan amendments in order to receive public comments on such proposals. The requirements of the Pierce County Charter and the Permanent Rules of the Pierce County Council governing the enactment of ordinances shall govern public hearing and notice requirements for Comprehensive Plan amendments.
