A. Fire Department Connections. Fire Department Connections shall be installed in an approved location with the following considerations:
1. Within 25 feet of a fire hydrant.
2. On the same side of the emergency vehicle access as the hydrant.
3. Not in a collapse zone.
4. Locking caps required.
5. Minimum of 50 feet from structure.
6. Clustered when possible.
