A. The Director or designee may receive in trust any money donated or bequeathed to it, and carry out the terms of such donations or bequests, or, in the absence of such terms, expend the same as the Director may deem advisable for parks and recreation purposes.

B. The Director may direct unspecified money that is donated or bequeathed toward a P&RS scholarship program to support youth development as published and provided for and described in P&RS policy.

C. The Director or designee may negotiate co-sponsorship agreements to     promote and maintain public programs and services, and to develop and maintain relationships with qualified non-profit community organizations that are providing public service to the residents of Pierce County.

D. The Director or designee shall establish policies and procedures to assure that current co-sponsorships have guidelines for sustaining public service and provide for new groups to be considered for co-sponsorship status based on guiding principles for public service.
