Unless otherwise renewed, a franchise granted hereunder shall be in effect for an initial term of not more than ten years. Any franchise renewal shall be subject to the mutual written agreement of the parties and shall be in effect for a term of not more than five years; provided, that multiple renewals are allowed pursuant to the provisions of the franchise agreement.
