12.32.020 Franchises Required.

Utilities are required, in accordance with RCW 36.55.010, to obtain a franchise approved by the Pierce County Council in order to use the right-of-way for the construction and maintenance of facilities, except that the Pierce County Department of Planning and Public Works and any entity under contract with Pierce County shall be exempted from this requirement.
