The County Engineer is directed to post County roads with the proper traffic-control devices to regulate the maximum speed limits as adopted by ordinance and said speed limits shall become effective when posted. The maximum legal speed limit on any county road or portion thereof which is not posted with a regulatory speed limit sign is 25 miles per hour.
